Guam Shipping FAQ

We offer several options from full door-to-door service to the more economical port-to-port service. Our most popular request for shipping to Guam is Door-to-port service. Since Guam is relatively small, most of our customers prefer to save a few hundred dollars and pick up their vehicle straight from the port.

HOW DO I PREPARE MY VEHICLE FOR SHIPPING?

It is a requirement that the gas tank of the vehicle being shipping is less than ¼ full. We would ask that you would clean the inside of your car and remove all personal belongings. No personal items can be inside the vehicle during shipping.

AM I ELIGIBLE FOR A DISCOUNT?

We offer a variety of discounts. We give $50 discounts for military personal, returning customers and multiple vehicle shipping (each vehicle receives $50 off). We offer $100 rebate/discount for any referrals that result in shipping a vehicle to Guam or Hawaii.

WOULD I BE ABLE TO RE-SCHEDULE THE SHIPPING DATE?

Yes! You are able to re-schedule the shipping date as long as you let us know before a carrier is dispatched to the vehicles location. Carriers are normally dispatched 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up date

WHEN IS THE NEXT SHIPPING DATE?

We offer two options; expedited and standard shipping. With expedited shipping, the vessel departs weekly but takes one month to arrive at destination. With Standard shipping, the vessel departs around the 5th of every month, and takes 2 and ½ weeks to arrive at port. We would recommend our most popular option, which is Standard Shipping, due to the fact that Expedited Shipping is several hundred dollars more expensive and saves only about a week.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Once your vehicle arrives at the port, shipping to Guam usually takes 2 and ½ weeks, whereas shipping from Guam usually takes 1 month. Vehicles that are less than 1000 miles would take 1-3 days to reach that port and vehicles that are over 1000 miles would take 3-7 days to reach the port. WHAT IS A CUSTOMS CLEARANCE BROKER AND DO I NEED TO HIRE ONE?

Vehicles that are being shipped to Guam are not required to clear customs and have no need for a customs broker. For vehicles that are being imported from Guam to the United States, customers brokers are not required but highly recommend. Customs Brokers are licensed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection to conduct CBP business on behalf of importers. They take the burden of filling out paperwork and obtaining a CBP bond off of the importer’s hands.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I SCHEDULE THE TRANPORT OF MY VEHICLE?

As a rush order, we can schedule the pick-up of your vehicle the same day that you place the order otherwise we would be able to pick-up your vehicle the next day. To ensure that your vehicle gets on the vessel, it must arrive at the port 3 days before the shipping date. Please see the question “How long does it take?” for estimated delivery details.

WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED?

All required documents are listed on our Guam Shipping Checklist page. To see the check list page click here.

HOW AND WHEN DO I PAY?

Placing an order requires a deposit to secure a spot on the careers. If cancelation is requested in writing, deposits are fully refundable before a carrier is dispatched to the vehicle location. All payments must be cleared 2 days before the vehicle arrives at port. Payments can be made by cash money order, certified bank checks, wire transfers and credit cards. Please note that we recommend avoiding credit cards for full payments due to the extra 7% processing charge.
