Shipping Car to Yap, Chuuk or Pohnpei Checklist:
- Consignee full name and contact information (Phone, fax, email)
- Ownership information of importing vehicle
- Vehicle year, make, model, color, VIN and license plate number.
- Address in Micronesia, vehicle’s final destination
- All personal items must be cleared from the vehicle
- Contact information of person picking up the vehicle at the port (Power of attorney required if person is someone other than the owner)

- Vehicle must clear customs in the United States
- Imported vehicles must pay 2.5% duty tax
- Vehicles under 1 year old and meet all US bumper and safety standards are exempt from the duty tax (certificate of conformity from manufacturer is required)
- Contact information of person picking up the vehicle at the port (Power of attorney required if person is someone other than the owner)
